I am about 50,000 words into my novel, which kind of makes me want to raise my arm like John Bender does at the end of The Breakfast Club. (On a side note, am the only person who thinks that movie is overrated? Seriously, Ferris Bueller was his magnum opus.) 

To celebrate, I want you to get to know my protagonist, Jordan, a bit better. She (yes, that is her real name) is obsessed with movies and references them to express herself and orient herself in the world. (What? Did you expect a novel I wrote to not have pop culture references all over the place?)
